Loaded Leopard

I did my first leopard print nails...crazy right? I'm surprised it took me this long to actually get around to doing them... At first it was because I didn't have any dotting tools, and whenever I tried it looked straight up jank. This time I liked it a lot better.

I started off applying 3 coats of Illamasqua Load, gave myself a few seconds to giggle over the name... I mean who couldn't?
And then started applying my spots using Funky Fingers Kingston(orange), Funky Fingers Riot(purple), Sinful Color Fusion Neon(pink), and Sinful Colors Irish Green.

Voila! LEOPARD PRINT!
I love the way this came out...its pretty fierce lol! I've always loved neon leopard!

Rainbow Favorites: Day 4 Blue Sinful Colors Why No/ Day 5 Purple Confetti Happy Birthday

It's official, I suck.
I completely forgot to post yesterday for blue so I'm going to do both blue and purple.

Here's my blue.  Sinful Colors Why Not.  If you can't tell I've loved the crap out of this polish, its was my go to pedi color last summer, and it traveled with me quite a bit.  I actually think the lovely polish drippings got there after taking it on the plane with me to go visit my brother on his base, and I didn't close it all the way.

And here's my purple! Confetti Happy Birthday! Love, love, love, love, love.... This was the first polish I ever bought a back up of.  It has an almost jelly like finish and the the glass flecks flash gold and pink depending on the light.

Only one more post to go and then I'm done with this challenge!

Rainbow Favorites-Day 2 Sinful Colors Summer Peach

Happy Monday! Today's day is orange, and I have Sinful Colors Summer Peach to show you. I've never been a huge fan of orange, but lately I've been rocking orange a lot more than I thought I ever would.

Summer Peach is a super super bright neon orange color, it's a pain to apply though, so this is 1 coat white polish, and 3 coats of Summer Peach.

Nubar Black and White Polka Dot

Happy Wednesday!

Nubar Black and White Polka Dot...why didn't I own the two of them before? They're gorgeous! But, they've also put me on my first official no buy.  With my bestie in town(aka the enabler) I've spent so much money, we went everywhere when he was here, Sally's, Sephora, basically anywhere and everywhere that I'd be able to find some good polish.  I took advantage of the 50% off the already 50% red tag sale at Sally's and got all but 3 of the Hunger Game Collection and a couple of Magnetix, so I have a lot to blog about! Football Mini Camp has started, so I'll also probably have some football nails that I'll be showing you too.

2 coats of White Polka Dot and Black Polka dot over Sinful Colors Summer Peach. I had quite a bit of trouble trying to pull out the larger hex glitter in White Polka Dot.  It's super hard to see over the orange, but I only managed to get a couple on my pointer finger and only one on my ring finger. Next time I'll probably place them indivdually using a dotting tool and pulling the large glitter straight off brush.

Black Polka Dot gave me no trouble and it looks fabulous! I can't wait to try this over a nude color later this week.

Have a great rest of the week!

Sinful Colors-Cinderella

I'm a little late to jump on the bandwagon with this one but Sinful Colors' Cinderella is gorgeous.  It's a perfect pastel baby shower blue with gorgeous pinky orange shimmer through out it.  I completely understand the hype surrounding this! It's perfection. Lobster hands won't even stop me from wearing this one! It was pretty runny, but not runny enough to flood my into my cuticles. 3 coats.

My guy was kind enough to find these for me, he's such an enabler to my addiction! Look at his impressive packaging skills. I have no idea how none of the nail polish that he's ever sent me has never broken. He only wraps them in the plastic bag that they came in and sends them on there happy little way to my house.

April Showers Challenge/ Autism Awareness- Blue Ombre

Hey y'all! I hope everything with you guys has been going great! I have an blue ombre for you today! I actually did my first ombre back in the beginning of April when my best friend came to visit on my toes using black and grays, but I'm in love with my blue one! It's such a striking look but so simple to create. I only had to franken one color for my middle finger with the polish from my ring finger and pointer finger.  I need to do a lot more of these....

Ring Finger- ChG For Audrey
Middle Finger- Franken
Pointer Finger-Sinful Why Not

Autism Awareness Mouth- Blue Spun Sugar

Hello gorgeous! I haven't posted much lately because I'm getting ready for my prom that's on the 28th! I finally found my dress, and I've set up my hair appointment with one of my good friends, ordered the boutonniere (I chose a calla lily for him), have my shoes already, and all I have left to do is pick up the tickets, get my eyebrows waxed and choose what I want on my nails.  My dress is a very jewel toned almost vibrant purple (think Essie Sexy Divide). I think I'll do a cavier manicure or something else that would be fun...

I must say I'm particularity in love with the "spun sugar" manicures, even though they can be a pain in the butt to do if you're impatient like me! I used Zoya Codie as the base hoping it would give sort of a chocolate vibe to it.  If you ask me I'd say that it does, plus it helps the blue pop off the background.  For my blues I used ChG For Audrey and Sinful Colors Why not.  Because I'm so impatient and couldn't wait for the strings to get a little more wispy, my "spun sugar" are a little bit chunkier and I love it!

My pinky is my favorite!

April Showers Bring May Flowers Challenge-Glitter Sammy

Hey darlin! I got another challenge post! 3 days and I'm actually keeping up with it this time!

Today I did the glitter sammy challenge using China Glaze Near Dark, and for my glitter Sinful Green Ocean. I love how this turned out because its a little unconventional using such a dark color but since Near Dark is a jelly it worked out perfectly! I need to remember doing a glitter sandwichs more often.

1 coat of Nail Envy, 1 coat Gelous, 2 coats Near Dark, 2 coats of Green Ocean, 1 coat Near Dark and then to top it off 2 coats of NYC fast dry topcoat.
This was my first time using Green Ocean and its amazing! It has glitter and flakies in it!

Sinful Colors-Last Chance

Guess what ya'll? I got another green for you! Last Chance is gorgeous isn't it? It's squishy and almost jelly like but also very opaque, which is a huge plus for me. I actually wore this for a couple of day which explains the tip wear. I love how dark this green is but doesn't pull black on me while I'm in doors. Although some lighting does make it turn a sort of navy color on me, it still flashes green.
I defiantly need to remember to pull this out a lot more. I always need a go to dark that isn't William Tell Me OPI.  This would probably make for a gorgeous pedi color as well....

Greeeeeeeeeennn!

It's march! THAT MEANS SHAMROCK SHAKES! And I guess wearing green polish more than I normally do.  For real though, I live for shamrock shakes and St. Patrick's Day. I'm actually very Irish so this holiday kinda means a lot to me!

My first St. Patrick's Day mani! There's a little bit of chips and tip wear after working in the training room this afternoon.  It was actually a very noticeable gradient, but was oddly hard to capture in the picture.  I used China Glaze's Starboard, Westside Warrior, and Near Dark for the gradient and Sinful Color's Nail Junkie over all of that. I love the way this turned out. I've never used NJ over anything that wasn't blue before, so I was so surprised how much I liked it over green.

I hope you guys have a great friday!
